Default apps are set to 2nd drive yet microsoft store downloads any games to my C:Drive

On my windows settings I have everything set to Drive H, but when downloading games on the microsoft store it downloads to the C:drive and i cant find an option to change it in the app or windows settings.

There has got to be a way to change this right? I literally cant play game pass games because I have no space left on my C:drive

    :)

  4. Default apps are set to 2nd drive yet microsoft store downloads any games to my C:Drive

Microsoft store won’t allow me to download to any other drive but the C drive.

I can download to the c drive with no problems at all. My issue is that my c drive is small and I use another for my games. When I try to install to another drive I get an error 0x80070057. I have tried the following

    • updated Windows
    • reset Microsoft store
    • changed storage location
    • used power shell
    • used CMD (sfc /scannow, DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth, DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth, DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image
      /RestoreHealth)
    • Microsoft Store troubleshooter

Nothing has worked. Even called Microsoft and they couldn’t figure it out, escalating it tomorrow. Please help!
