    We're running Autodesk Inventor 2023, a 3D design application, and two of the file types it creates, dwg and idw, are associated with an uninstalled release, Autodesk Inventor 2019. When I try to change the Default apps setting for these file types Autodesk Inventor Drawing, the only options I have are "Autodesk Inventor 2019" and "Look for an app in the Microsoft Store."Selecting the Microsoft Store option doesn't allow me to choose Autodesk Inventor 2023. I can select Autodesk Inventor 2023 using the "Open with" option via the shortcut menu in File Explorer, but that doesn't affect the Def

    How to set Microsoft Photos App as default

    Hello,

    We understand the issue you are facing and will assist you.

    I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

    • Navigate to Start>Settings>System.
    • In the left pane, click on Default Apps.
    • In the right pane, click on Choose default apps by file type.
    • Set the default App to open .jpg files and check for status.

    Setting Default Apps in the Settings app doesn't work

    I have the same problem but I would like to set the Iron browser to default. I can set any browser when using set default by apps but SRware Iron does not even show up on the apps list. It is installed. I even reinstalled it as someone else suggested.
    Why is this the only browser that I cannot set as default.

    windows 10 default calendar cannot be set to the calendar app

    Hi,

    Thank you for your interest in Windows 10.

    I suggest you to follow the steps below to set Calendar app as default:

    • Press Windows key + X.
    • Click on Control Panel and click on Default Programs.
    • Click on Set your Default Programs.
    • Click on Calendar app on the left side and click on
      Set as Default from the drop down option. Refer to the screenshot below:
