Windows 10: Default font size cannot be set in Windows 11 email app 2022

I have 2 email accounts in my Windows 11 email app. The second one, my aol email account, does not change the default font size when I select it, the default font only works on the other email, my yahoo email account, which seems to be listed as my primary account in the email app.. Why doesn't "default" mean default?

As your concern is about changing the font size, do let us know the following to assist you better:

• Are you referring to font size in Windows operating system/ with in the Windows Live Mail?
• Have you installed any fonts on your device?

If you are referring to font size in Windows operating system, try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: Steps to restore the default font settings.

• Press Windows key, type font and select
  Change Font Settings.
• Click on Restore default font settings.
• Sign-out from the current user account and re-sign in and check if it helps.

Step 2: Change the font settings

• Press Windows key, type font and select View fonts installed.
• Click on Change font size in the left pane.
• Under Change the text only, click on the drop down arrow choose the appropriate option and change the size you wish to and click on
  Apply.

If you are referring to Windows Live Mail, I would like to inform that it is by design you cannot change the font settings to default on Windows Live Mail. Instead, you can choose appropriate font size and fonts while typing the mail.

Change default font size in Mail app


The default font size is Calibri 11. That cannot be changed.
The only change you can make is to manually change the font size on each email when you compose a message.

In other more sophisticated email programs such as Windows Live Mail, you can set default font size as well as style.

 

Changing font and font size for emails

Your suggestion changes the font and size the a single email. I'm trying to change to a default setting for all emails on going.
