Windows 10: Default fonts too small in the display ribbon of Word in Office 2021 and also in the print...

I am using Microsoft Word in my Office Suite 2021 not 365 app in Windows 11. I am a long time user of Windows 7 and have just started using Windows 11.I have been struggling with the default size of the fonts in many functions.The fonts in the display banner are much too small for me. Also, I have the settings on grey because I couldn't see the print when the tech set this up for me.Even the default fonts in the Control Panel are too small. Also when I select print in my Epson Print control panel. Ridiculously small.Zooming in and out doesn't apply to these "set display windows"Is it necess

Changing the default font on Microsoft Word 2010 has no effect on new pages

Perform the following steps to set the default font for new Microsoft Word 2010 documents.

1. Right click the "Normal" Style on the Home ribbon and click Modify.
   
2. Change the font to Times New Roman, 12 (or whatever you would prefer).
   
3. Select the "New documents based on this template" option.
   
4. Click OK
   
5. Close and reopen Microsoft Word to confirm.
   

For Microsoft Excel, perform these steps:

1. Select File menu, Options item.
   
2. Select the General category.
   
3. Change "When creating new workbooks, use this font"
   
4. Click OK to confirm
   
5. Restart Microsoft Excel as instructed.
   

 

Customize font sizes for menu bars, ribbons, etc.

Since the new Windows update installed last night, all of my menu/ribbon font sizes have gotten very small. I cannot locate the place to change menu font sizes. I believe it was under display before this. I am able to change the overall display setting but all of the different menus and ribbons in my programs have reverted to a very small font. Part of display functions used to allow font size changes for separate components of the window such as menu bar, toolbar, etc. I can no longer find that option. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Changing Word ribbon font size in Windows 10

In Windows 7 it was easy to increase the font size if the ribbon in MS Office Word: Right click the desktop / personalize + 2 more clicks and a window opens where you can change each and every part of the window: Title bar font size and color, menu font size, icon size, etc etc. Increasing menu font size (or palette font size, I don't remember) automatically increased the Word ribbon font size.

In Windows 8 it was pretty much the same.

But in Windows 10 they must have hidden it very deep, I can't find it (and I badly need to increase the ribbon font size, I'm not getting younger....).

Please help.
