Windows 10: Default Microsoft speech recognition software on desktop computers

Is there any way to change the default speech recognition software that is provided in Microsoft Word on desktop computers? It is very poor quality compared to the excellent Google voice recognition software, and it does not seem to improve even after trying to train it better to my voice.

I can use the Google voice recognition software on my smartphone when working on Microsoft Word docs but on my desktop computer it seems I can only use the Microsoft speech recognition software.


I know I can use the Google voice recognition software within Google docs but I don't want to use Google docs because I have the full Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite on my desktop.


Any ideas out there?

I would suggest you to follow the steps to see Advance speech options.

• Press Windows+X key on the keyboard
• Click on control panel
• Select speech recognition
• On the left hand pane you will see Advance speech option

  In the upper right of the Speech Recognition Option window click
