Windows 10: Default settings for Windows 10 Web connectivity values on all sections of Network and...

Acceptable domains as well for network connectivity may be affected so info on how to reset that to original default would help. I had installed google chrome on my lenovo laptop as well as Norton LifeLOCK. A few days ago, the VPN appeard corrupted and I have been unable to unstall and reinstall the application..


Additionally, I have nonchalantly been looking at the windows modules and may have made some changes. My cursor seems to be much more slow. And yesterday evening, Windows X-box icon showing up in my the lower tool bar which emerges from the search window and has contained icons which I access for most of my work as well as a breif listing if the websites I have been using.


Suggestions would be helpful.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Hello Brian,

You should be able to change your default web browser in Windows 10. Please follow the steps below:

1. Press the Start button> select Settings.
2. Select Apps > Default apps.
3. Select which default Web browser you want to set, and then choose the app. Chrome needs to be installed before you can set them as the default. (See screenshot below)
