Windows 10: Defaulting "Size All Columns to Fit"

Hi Microsoft team, We would appreciate you improve the function of defaulting "size all columns to fit" globally/permanently in File Explorer.I believe I'm not the only one who facing this issue.It's very inconvenience to do it MANUALLY for every folder we open up.Look forward to you solution.Thanks and regards,Ellbe Lim Ms.

To clarify your concern, we'd like to know if you're trying to change the width of all columns to fit their contents in a folder. If yes, kindly follow the steps below:

• Open the folder with a details layout view that you want to change the width of columns to fit.
• Click on the View tab.

Even though your response is confusingly worded, I comprehend it. Just the same, I already know how to set "size all columns to fit" in individual folders and did not request reiteration. My biggest challenge, however, is that your suggestion to apply this setting as a default--seemingly using "Options > View > Apply to All Folders"--does NOT work because there is no clickable box within the view window that denotes columnar sizing. When I "Apply to All Folder" nothing changes and I must manually "size all columns to fit" in every folder.

Perhaps I missed something implied by your response? Are you suggesting there IS a "size all columns to fit" setting within Options > View?

DEAR MICROSOFT JUST MAKE ALL COLUMN SIZES FIT. Is that impossible to do!?!
