Windows 10: Defect

I scaned and cleaned my computer because something wasn't right. And here is the result of that scan. https://www.windows.com/stopcodePAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGE_AREA....NTFS.SYS....I haven't a clue of what to do and when I looked it up on search it got even more confusing. Can anybody help me with this? Also I tried to DEFRAG my computer and couldn't find a way to do that either. Any help will be appreicated.

Is the dvd-rom defective?

There's some good suggestions on here, Eric.

I've seen this crap before, as well. Ultimately it's caused by the drive not reading the disc properly. Either the disc, the drive or both are defective. It might also be a switch setting as some are suggesting, but that's not very likely.

You need to separate them to troubleshoot this. Making another disc wouldn't hurt, either and won't take very long.

 

Defect in Cast to Device(?)

OS: Windows 10

Device: Xbox One

Defect: Removing the currently playing, or paused, media from the cast to device list does not stop the media.

Summary: When removing the currently playing, or paused, media item from the cast to device list the next media item in the list "inherits" the "handle" of the removed media item. The next media item retains the expected media's title and thumbnail image.
Pausing and resuming the media pauses and resumes the removed media item. Stopping the media and playing the media plays the removed media item from the beginning. If the removed media item is the last media item in the list then a "null handle" is "inherited"
and no media plays, pauses, or stops, yet the play button remains tactile.

Expected Behavior: When removing the currently playing, or paused, media item from the cast to device list stop the media. Then, if the previous media item was playing, begin playing next media item, else, queue the next media item and wait for user input.

Steps to reproduce:

1) Add 2 or more media files to the cast to device list.

2) Play a media item (if not automatically started).

3) Right-click and remove the playing media item.

4) Observe behavior described in summary.

 

Defective Imprints

Recently, I have noticed a curious happening with my N81 SD whereby I D/L a podcast via the in built podcast manager, but when I go to play it skips the episode I have freshly D/L'ed and goes to the next in my list.

When I try to delete what I assume is a defective file I get a general system error message and I cannot delete the file that I know i most certainly not there. However it still shows up in the list. Refreshing my library doesn't help.

The only solution I have found, thus far, to get rid of the "phantom file" is to back up the phone to my pc, format the memory card then restore the back-up. This removes the defective file name. However this is not sustainable in the longer term.

Has anyone else encountered this with the N81 or a similar model? Has anyone found a simpler way to refresh their file list without resorting to a full format of the memory card?
