    Defender Issue


    Defender just started warning me that there is a threat, BrowserModifier:Win32/Polted. However, almost immediately after I go into Defender and "Remove all" of the multiple instances of the same BrowserModifier:Win32/Polted problem I am hit again and again with the same message. How do I retain my Defender protection while avoiding the frequent warnings (audible as well as pop up)? I can't discern a way to handle the problem from the Defender site.

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    We suggest you to avoid installing any cleaner or anti-virus software that may interrupt the function of Windows Defender. Make sure that Windows Defender is always on. To do this follow these steps:

    • On the Start menu, type Windows Defender and hit enter.
    • Click Settings.
    • Turn Real-time protection on.
