Windows 10: Defender not respecting exclusion list

I am loading an app from a network drive. The app utilizes thousands of DLLs. MsMpEng is scanning every single one of them making the app unusable.I verified this with Performance analyzer for Microsoft Defender AntivirusLet's say the DLLs live at \\a\b\c\d\bin\\a\b is mapped to my D: driveI've added the following folders to the exclusion list:- D:\c\d\bin- \\a\b\c\d\bin- C:\Windows\UNC\a\b\c\d\binYet the files are still being scanned. How do I fix this?

Unable to Remove Exclusions from Windows Defender

the exclusion list. It seems that it was added automatically. We suggest that you follow these steps:

• Go to Settings and select Update & security.
• Click Windows Defender.
• Look for Exclusions and select Add an exclusion.
• Navigate to the file, folder, or process, and select Exclude this file.

If the steps provided did not work, we recommend that you boot your device to
Safe Mode and redo the process.

Windows Defender Exclusion list

Hi! I cant remove my windows defender exclusion list.. If I clicked remove button but nothing happens and still remaining it in the exclusion list.. How can I remove it.. My exclusion list has generated automatically by some virus or some unauthorized program..

Windows Defender - The list of exclusions does not appear

Is it 20H2, or this pre-release version 4.18.2010.4 of Defender's Platform?

I'm on 20H2 with the general release Windows Defender Platform 4.18.2009.7-0 and my add folder exclusion appears.
