Windows 10: Defender Scam

Discus and support Defender Scam in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; My 92 yr old mother received a call saying her account was charged $200 for Defender anti-virus and if she didn't want it to call to get a refund.     Defender Scam


    My 92 yr old mother received a call saying her account was charged $200 for Defender anti-virus and if she didn't want it to call to get a refund. So I called and they said they were calling from AnyDesk and I would have to download a form and fill it out online while they are on the phone with me in order to refund the account they charged. I asked what account they charged and they said it was a privacy issue. I asked then how do I know what account info I need for the refund. Because I was asking various questions I was transferred to someone else. Finally they hung up on me. However I noticed they would use AnyDesk which shows a legit website so you think the call is legit. SCAM

    I received a scam email concerning Windows Defender Protection this morning which I did not call phone number listed. Just wanted to advise you of this email.
