Windows 10: Defender summary disable

Discus and support Defender summary disable in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; I simply cannot find an option to turn it off, if there is nothing found then i dont need to know about it whichever genius thought that would be...     I simply cannot find an option to turn it off, if there is nothing found then i dont need to know about it whichever genius thought that would be useful needs to give an option to turn it off

    Enhanced notifications is no longer available or at least i cant find it

    Windows Defender Summary Banner

    How do I get rid of the banner for Windows Defender that tells me that no threats were found and the PC has been scanned twice? It is a black rectangular box that blocks the bottom left corner of my screen. Big problem when working on documents!

    Defender summary disable

    Which version of Windows 10 do you have? Is it the Creators Update (1703)? Sounds like it if you don't see 'Enhanced notifications' any more. Open the Windows Defender Security Centre and click the cogwheel icon at the bottom left corner, the option is there. Turn off 'Receive recent activity and scan results'.

    For the Anniversary Update (1607) and earlier, it's in Settings > Update & security > Windows Defender. Turn off 'Enhanced notifications'.

    Thanks, initially i did not notice that tiny cog in the corner lol. I disabled that function.

    To tell the truth, I had it turned off before I upgraded to Creators so I'd not spotted that cogwheel either. Had to look hard to find it for you. Not exactly easy to spot, is it? *Smile
