    Defender yellow warning triangle wont go away despite no errors or risks


    The warning triangle showed up 2 weeks ago and i was facing problem with a windows update at that time so i did an in place upgrade as suggested by a thread in this community. The upgrade made way for the update and the warning went away but a couple of days ago it shows up again and as you see there are no visible problems for this. I tried the suggested ways in other threads but to no avail. Kindly help. The windows is running on a licensed version on a laptop purchased in April 2022.

    Defender tray icon showing yellow triangle?

    Started Windows today and the yellow triangle has gone!
    I think the original problem is a bug in the check for errors system in Windows Defender (A false positive), and not a real problem?
    Anyway I will keep an eye on Defender, and if the problem re-occurs I will post again!

    Defender should run a scan automatically once a week. Mine ran again today:

    Defender tray icon showing yellow triangle?

    Already tried a quick scan but the Defender icon still shows a yellow triangle with the "Actions recommended" text bubble?
    There is no sign of any problems in "Settings" in any of the tabs, or in the system tray other than the yellow triangle?
