Windows 10: Defragment stuck at 0%

Discus and support Defragment stuck at 0% in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; I recently installed a fresh copy of windows on a drive. I just analyzed it and its 32% fragmented.     Defragment stuck at 0%


    I recently installed a fresh copy of windows on a drive. I just analyzed it and its 32% fragmented. But when I optimize its just stuck on Pass 1: 0% defragmented ive restarted my computer and tried optimizing again but it just stays at 0%

    Defragmenting On Raid 0 Help

    I will try the above suggestions, but here is another question. Raid 0 works by taking all data inputs and splitting them between the two hard drives. However, defragging works by moving data around to where it should be. So, wouldn't defragging try to move all of the data to one hard drive, which would defeat the purpose of a raid configuration?

    Defragging Gets Stuck on random numbers Windows 10

    I need to migrate my data from my hard drive to my SSD, but I need to defrag the hard drive first. It is 2% fragged when I analyze it, but every time I try to optimize the drive, it gets stuck on random numbers. The first time I tried it got stuck at pass
    14 at 0% and the next time it got stuck at pass 9 at 0%. I do know that every time it gets stuck the percent will be 0%. I closed all applications and let it defrag for an hour and only got to pass 8, and stuck at 0%. Thank you for the help!

    Defragment stuck at 0%

    Windows Defrag

    When running defrag, there is a drive listing for Windows RE Tools. It shows as a solid state drive and that it has never been defragged. It will not optimize. Clicking on it does nothing. Any suggestions?
