Windows 10: delays with sketchup pro

while using sketchup I'm having several delays. Is there a patch that would help.

SketchUp program is really slow when selectiong an object using Surface Book 2 and new Surface Pro.

The Surface Book 2 should be capable enough in running SketchUp because it has a dedicated GPU. You might be experiencing this performance issue because SketchUp is only using integrated graphics instead of utilizing the dedicated GPU. Let's try setting
your Surface to always use the dedicated GPU when running the app. Here's how:

• On the search bar, in the taskbar, type Control Panel and select
  Control Panel in the results.
• Click on Hardware and Sound.
• Click on Nvidia Control Panel.
• In the graphics settings, specify SketchUp to use the graphics card.

Update KB4013429 messes with Sketchup

Having the same issue after installing SketchUp 2017 but I do not see KB4013429 in the list of installed updates. Running OS Build 15063.540

Tried updating the Intel Video driver to the latest, running on my Lenovo E530.

thanks for your reply but this has nothing to do with the GPU, I have been using sketchup for more than 10 years now. and my last computer was a surface pro 3 that has no GPU and sketchup works great in that pc. there must be a terrible bug or something
with the new surface book and the new surface pro.
