Windows 10: Delete a downloaded update that i haven't installed yet

Hello, unitll now, my computer was runing on windows 10 with windows insider, however, i left insider just now when I saw that the new preview build was actually windows 11. I definitely don't want windows 11 on my computer yet for many reasons so I wanted to know if there is a way of deleting this update knowing that it's just downloaded, I haven't restarted my computer yet so it isn't installed so i'm sure it won't be applied on my next restart ?Thank you for you time

Driver Update/install

Ok, so let me get the basics down first.

1st delete the old driver(software or one by one)
2nd Install new drivers from download
3rd test new drivers

Reboot after steps 1 & 2?

 

Vista x64 won't download updates?

The last updates on my home desktop are dated 16th June.
I've powered it on some 3 or 4 times since then, but nothing was downloaded automatically as per settings.

I tried the manual update from the CP but I get an error code 80070002.

I did the troubleshooting suggested (i.e. stop the Windows Update service, delete the temporary update files, restart the Windows Update service, and then try to check for Windows updates again) but I still keep getting the same error code, even after rebooting *Confused

What gives?

• Have downloaded Windows 10 through Windows Updates?

If you have downloaded through Windows Updates, follow the below steps to delete:

All the downloaded updated would be saved in the 'Software Distribution folder'.

Step1: Stop Automatic Updates

• 
  Press Windows key + X.
  
• 
  Select Search
  
• 
  Type in services.msc and hit Enter.
  
• 
  Double-click on Automatic Updates
  
• 
  Click on Stop
  

Step 2: Delete the downloaded file

• 
  Press Windows key + X.
  
• 
  Select Sesarch
  
• 
  Type in %windir%\SoftwareDistribution
  
• 
  Open the Download folder and delete its contents
  

Step 3: If you have downloaded the .ISO file follow the below steps

a) Click Windows + C on the
keyboard.

b) Click on Download
folder in the left pane.

c) Now you may delete the files.
