  1. Delete A Network Settings

I don't have internet so I bought a Mobile HotSpot. Installed it ran fine but didn't write down password. Next morning tried to get on and can't. Now it shows the HotSpot as a network but I can't use it for it asks for password.

Even my cell shows up as a Network but can't connect to that either.

HotSpot was through cell company and now they say its the laptop not the their problem.

    Please help!

    Thanks in advance,

    Linda

    :)

    Delete "hidden network"

    Hi,

Deleting or Blocking available networks can only be done using Command Prompt. Follow the steps below:

    • Open Command Prompt.
    • Type netsh wlan add filter permission=block ssid="WLAN name"
networtype=infrastructure (Replace WLAN name with "hidden network" or the name of the wireless network you want to block) and press
      Enter.
    • Close Command Prompt.
To remove/delete the network from the block list. Replace "add" with "delete" on the command in step two.

    Looking forward to your response.
