    Hi,I am uninstalling a software named autocad from my PC. It is from Autodesk.inc. I struggle because there are files and little programs every where.Is it ok to type in the search bar of my computer "autodesk" and delete all the files and folders with it in the name ?I am scared this could access some windows register files...

    What is the Container folder and why is it missing?

    They have 5 steps listed? Can you not get the files they mention in step 5? I can't tell if Containers is the name of a Windows file or just an internal reference or what.

    Unable to delete a folder - Invalid folder name


    Suggestion:
    1. Run chkdsk x: /r to make sure that there's no HD corruption.
      x: is the drive containing the folder you want to delete.
    2. Try to delete the folder again. If still does not work, go to step 3.
    3. Download: Download - Linux Mint and create a bootable USB using: Rufus - Create bootable USB
    4. Boot up with Linux Mint and try to delete the folder again.
      NOTE: Unlike WinPE. Linux does not have any Windows permission imposed to it so it is easier to delete.

    Compare a text file containing file names with files in a folder

    Hi,
    I have a text files containing a list of file names and I wish to compare that to a folder with files in it.
    The folder contains a rather large number of files and I want to see if files in that folder exist in the file with the list of file names.

    Hope I have explained my problem clearly.

    Would appreciate any help
