Discus and support Delete Bing search engine and add Google in Browsers and Email to solve the problem; How do I delete Bing search enging from Microsoft Edge and change to Google.     turn off bing search for google

    No problem. We're making progress. In the Google Toolbar wrench Icon> General tab> select "Use Google as my default search engine" then click on Save. Does that make Google the default, at least temporarily?

    How do i delete bing

    Bing is a search engine very much like Google.

    Edge is the browser that uses it like Chrome uses Google.

    So you can not delete Bing but what you can do is change your default search engine in a browser.

    However, Cortana can only use Bing so no luck there.

    Where is Bing annoying you and I can tell you if i can prevent that for you.

    go to settings=>view advanced settings=>search in the adress bar with
    Add Google => Add as default
    you can delete bing but it's not working to remove *Smile

    You can download Chrome and forget about using Microsoft Edge. At this time, you cannot add Google as a default search engine because you cannot delete Bing.

    You are incorrect. You can have Google set as the default search engine, though it's not exactly 'user friendly'. It's buried in settings and you need to have used the search engine you want before it shows up in the list to select. Right now my search engine options are Yahoo, Wikipedia, Twitter and Google. I can set any of these as a default search engine in Edge.

    I'm still test driving Edge and it definitely needs a lot of work. IE11 is way better than this at its current state.
