    Delete button and icon do not work in Microsoft Photos


    I'm viewing photos uploaded to my S: drive, however, I cannot quickly go through them and delete them using the DEL key on the keyboard or even by using the icon within Microsoft Photos. How can I get these two functions enabled?The issue seems to be specifically related to the drive because I can use these functions on two other drives on the same computer.

    but your suggestion did not work.When i turn off home button in Edge and re-open Edge and turn on home button ...the home icon appears but fades away when Edge is re-opened.

    I even uninstalled Edge and re-installed Edge following a fellow members suggestion tutorial but this step did not work either.

    Very strange

    The workaround is not a solution as I stated. It merely create an button on the Favorite Bar!

    Please follow davidhk's suggestion. You may have to run SFC /scannow three times in order to correct the file corruption problem!

    Multiple Photos

    We suggest that you follow the steps below to delete the photo through Photos app:

    • If you’re looking at your list of photos in Photos app, select the photos by clicking on checkbox on the photos you want to delete. Click
      Delete icon at the bottom right corner to delete.
    • If you open a photo, Tap or press Delete
      key from keyboard.

    Let us know if you need more assistance.
