Windows 10: Delete Event viewer logs from months to to months

Suppose if there are 1 years logs I want to keep recent 6 months logs and need to delete other 6 months logs. How ?

I noticed that some type of XML coding might help to export.

I export the logs basically based on the setup of the events. For example, you have Event Viewer (Local) -> Windows Logs -> Security. And I export them to )say the month of April):

What is getting a bit more difficult is creating the Event Viewer (Local) -> Applications and Services Logs -> Dell (OK a bit easy), but then you have Event Viewer (Local) -> Applications and Services Logs -> Microsoft -> Windows -> AAD. Which goes to:

D:\Logs\Event Viewer\Event Viewer (Local)\Applications and Services Logs\Microsoft\Windows\AAD\Operational\2016\Comma Separated Files - CSV\01.csv

So maybe if an XML export can some export / create the proper documents, that would be great!

Delete Event Log Files created in one month

I know that an entire log file can be deleted, but if one wants to only delete one month of Warnings, Errors, etc - is that possible?

When I right click, I see the options to click, Save (only 256), but no where does it say delete selected events.

I am in the Computer Management of Windows 10 -> Windows Logs -> (Currently Looking at the) System (Events)

Delete Event Log Files created in one month

Actually I think I figured it out, I created a custom view for that month, and then I can export it. Once done, I will have them all exported without having to worry about the 256 limit by right clicking on Custom View to export. I noticed that it will allow
me to create the Event Viewer, XML, TXT, CSV, and a Event Viewer Custom View File which is another XML file. I just then need to remember to delete the events around the first or the end of the month.

Manage Engine has some utility, maybe it might offer it, I'll look at that later.

I looked at the wevtutil.exe but it does not seem to have a delete option.

Sorry, let MS come to the boards. I gave up a long time ago giving them ideas, I test software / hardware for other companies now when I can.
