Windows 10: Delete Key not working

Hi All,System information:Windows 11 Home x64 Version 22H2 OS Build 22621.2428Brand: FrameworkMotherboard Chip Set: Intel Alder Lake-P PCHI am unable to use the delete key in any application on my laptop. I have attempted to fix this in the MS Suite via File>Options>Customize Ribon>Customize and make sure the delete key is the 'EditClear' key as I read as an option in another post. I even cleared and reset this quick key. I know this would only fix this issue in the MS Suite but, I figured it would be a good place to startI have also gone into the device manager and ran a troubl

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: You may check if the ALT key is functioning correctly in on-screen keyboard. It will help us to verify if there is any issue with the keyboard.

Follow the steps below to open On-screen Keyboard.

  Windows + Q, type OSK (on-screen keyboard)
  
• 
  And check if it works
  

Step 2: Run Hardware and device Troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your devices. Refer these steps:

  Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
  
• 
  Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.

  Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.

Unable to delete a folder - Invalid folder name


Suggestion:

1. Run chkdsk x: /r to make sure that there's no HD corruption.
   x: is the drive containing the folder you want to delete.
2. Try to delete the folder again. If still does not work, go to step 3.
3. Download: Download - Linux Mint and create a bootable USB using: Rufus - Create bootable USB
4. Boot up with Linux Mint and try to delete the folder again.
   NOTE: Unlike WinPE. Linux does not have any Windows permission imposed to it so it is easier to delete.
