Windows 10: Delete obsolete microsoft account

Dear Community I would welcome you assistance.I am a consultant. I was under contract for a couple of years and during that time the company set up an email account in exchange server which I used during the period of my contract. Now I have left that company and moved on to another contract for another company in another country. This company has asked me to set up an email account also under exchange server, which I have done and I am using.Here is my problem: I want to delete this obsolete email account, however Microsoft says it is the primary account and won't let me delete it. It is

Remove account

To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

Deleted account keeps reappearing

Is it still appearing no matter how you try to delete? I suggest you to follow the steps below to remove user account from your computer, and check if it helps. Try the ones you’re comfortable with.

Step 1: Steps to Remove a User Account in Settings

  Press Windows
  key, click on Settings.

  Select the user you want to delete under
  Other users and click on Remove.

  Accept the UAC (User Account Control) prompt.

Change Microsoft Account Details in Administrator Account

It's quite easy in fact, simply switch the account in question first to a local account, then switch back to a Microsoft account, this time using your wife's MS account credentials.

Notice that before doing this you need to remove the new additional MS account on the PC, the one you created with her credentials. Windows allows only one user account for each email address, if the new account exists you cannot switch the original administrator account to an MS account using the same email address.
