Windows 10: Delete Passwords in Microsoft Edge

I had my computer worked on and somehow I am seeing multiple people's passwords in my Microsoft Edge Wallet. How do I delete more than one password at a time? If I have to, how do I delete all of them? I delete some but then they come back.

Edge refusing to delete passwords

Hello all, I've started using a password manager and I am trying to tell Edge that I want all the stored passwords deleted - they are now handled by the password manager. I followed the last step of your tutorial here: How to Delete Saved Passwords for Sites in Microsoft Edge Chromium However, when I select Passwords (I have 700+) and I confirm, Edge takes me back to the previous screen but passwords are not being deleted. I can try as much as I want, passwords are always displayed - and suggested, despite the "offer to save password" is disabled. Any help please? Thanks! - - - Updated - - - quick update I did not realise that I can navigate to the "Passwords" screen and select them all. Then delete them all. So, problem solved. Still, the option to remove all the passwords in "clear browsing data" does not work Thanks!

 

Turn On or Off Offer to Save Passwords in Microsoft Edge


I just finished some testing, and when you say "No" to saving password for a site, it will add the site to the "Manage passwords" list.

Deleting the site from the list will normally have Microsoft Edge ask you to save the password again afterwards.

If you haven't already, double check the list to make sure all instances of the site has been deleted, or delete all saved passwords to start fresh.

Issues while resetting Microsoft account password

As you have that after entering the code it asks you to enter the current password, I would suggest you to try the following steps and see if that helps.

1. Try resetting the password using in-private browsing. If you are using Edge or Internet Explorer press,
   Ctrl + Shift + P to open Private tab. If you are using Chrome, press
   Ctrl + Shift + N.
   
2. Try clearing Cookies and Cache of the browser. Refer the article
   
   Delete and manage cookies. To clear Cookies in Edge follow the steps mentioned below.
   

• Open Microsoft Edge and go to
  Settings and more > Settings > Privacy & security.
  
• Under Clear browsing data, select
  Choose what to clear.
  
• Select the Cookies and saved website data check box and then select
  Clear.
