Windows 10: Delete photos from Your Phone Companion on PC

I linked the android app to the PC, but found it utterly pointless and a hassle. Problem is, before and after unlinking and uninstalling the phone app, the photos are still displaying when on the Your Phone app on PC. I'm not sure if there is a folder I'm missing which has stored all the photos it pulled when my phone was still connected, or another way to delete them from my PC.

Photos Companion - PC Doesn't Show QR Code

Hi Kandi,

There are several reasons why you're unable to transfer files from the Photo Companion app. Caches from your iPhone maybe interrupting the file transfer to your Windows PC, or the Windows 10 Photo app might be corrupted. Kindly try to perform these steps,
and check if it'll make any difference:

1. Try to reset your iPhone to delete all caches that maybe interrupting the file transfer.
2. Photos Companion app is connected to Windows 10 through the Photo app. You may try to run the
   
   Windows 10 app troubleshooter as this fixes usual Windows 10 app problems.

Hi,

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Phone companion app and check if you are facing the issue

To uninstall the phone companion app please follow the steps below:

• 
  Type phone companion in the
  search box.
  
• 
  Right click on
  phone companion and click on uninstall.
  

Once it is uninstalled, you can reinstall it from windows store.

Surfshark Blocks Your Phone Companion - Can't Whitelist?

I've installed Surfshark VPN on my PC and phone. Naturally, this breaks the connection between my phone and PC using the Your Phone / Your Phone Companion apps.

Surfshark tech support says to whitelist the Your Phone Companion app. However, Your Phone Companion does not show up in the list of applications, either from within Surfshark or in the main Android applications list. (And yes, it is installed, before anyone
asks. It was working fine before installing Surfshark.)

Any suggestions?
