Windows 10: Delete profile picture from Windows Store

Hello everyone

I just deleted my Microsoft Account profile photo. Because I use Windows online account I expected to see the change on my Windows 10 profile photo but apparently I had to delete it manually from %AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\AccountPictures and Users\Public\AccountPictures

this step was redundant. Even I had to clear the data for Microsoft Launcher and Skype on my Android device from manage storage item on app menu otherwise, the picture would restore on my online profile somehow. Now after all this chaos my Windows Store didn't see the changes and my profile picture is still there top right next to search icon. How can I permanently delete the picture without the need to delete it from any device one by one?

Are you referring to the local account profile picture? If you are, there's no automatic method of deleting profile picture. However, you can still remove unwanted profile pictures through
Windows Explorer. Follow the steps below:

• Select the Start button.
• Copy and paste the path below and then press Enter.
  • %appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\AccountPictures
• Delete the unwanted profile picture.

Changing/deleting Home profile picture

Please let me know as how to get my present Home profile picture deleted first on start up the systems and also if I want to have different profile picture sooner or later, how to go about it. This was not a problem in my earlier windows 7 ultimate.

Please send me a detailed step by step procedure at the earliest.
