Windows 10: Delete shortcuts from one user only

So i just made a new user for my wife on our laptop.Then i logged in to the new account and saw that all my shortcuts is on her desktop.I then delete the shortcut for steam and some other apps she doesn't use.When i switch to my user all the shortcuts i deleted from her user has been deleted from my user. Why? and how do i disable that ridicules feature...?

To understand the issue better, I would like to know are you trying to create shortcut for all user?

If you are trying to create shortcut for all user try the below steps and check.

• 
  Click on start menu and select
  file explorer.
  
• 
  Click on OS(C and click on user folder.
  
• 
  Click on view on top of the right pane and check on
  Hidden item box.
  
• 
  Now you can copy and paste the shortcut that you want on the folder.

I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if that helps.

• Go to the folder C:\Windows\System32 and sort by file type.
• Look for the screensaver file type (.scr).
• Find the file scrnsave.scr(you can choose any of the screensavers).
• Right click and select send to>desktop (create shortcut). The shortcut on my attachment, but when i click on it my screen goes off and on and nothing else.
