Windows 10: delete Windows 11 due to install failure

I have Windows 10 Home running on a fairly new laptop. I was offered the Windows 11 update, so I attempted to download and install it. However, it failed. Twice. I've seen this movie before, so I will stay on Windows 10. Where do I find the downloaded image file or whatever it is so I can delete it?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

C windows installer folder - Delete?

He can do symbolic link redirection and move the files in it to a different location. *Wink
Better try it out in a virtual of first. Just a suggestion.

Like:
First move everything in c:\windows\installer to d:\installercache
Then delete c:\windows\installer folder
Then type this in command mode as admin
mklink /d c:\windows\installer d:\installercache

Removing those installer files is a bad idea. it might prevent you from updating or uninstalling apps.

Are you trying to Upgrade while saving our files, apps and settings, or do a Clean Install?

1) To troubleshoot Upgrade failure problems please post back all results as well as any verbatim error message and number you receive as you work through these troubleshooting steps:

2) Follow the steps under Download Windows 11 DIsk Image ISO, by clicking the link "Before you Start" at https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/software-downlo....

3) Double click ISO to mount it as a virtual drive, right click Setup to Run as Administrator, follow steps here to Upgrade from ISO:
