Deleted browser shortcuts still appearing in Settings > Apps > Installed apps

I have recently deleted some Google Chrome browser shortcuts from my Windows computer. These browser shortcuts are still appearing as apps in Settings > Apps > Installed apps. How can I delete these references to browser shortcuts that are no longer on my computer? I have tried uninstalling en reinstalling Google Chrome, as well as updating from Windows 10 to Windows 11 since I was going to update anyway. None of these actions helped to resolve the issue.

    :)

Desktop HTML shortcuts being listed in Apps under settings?

A friends Win 10 installation is listing Desktop HTML shortcuts under Apps in the Setting App listing. Seems to have happened after he downloaded and installed a program in support of some two way radio equipment. System Restore does not correct the problem. Suggestions appreciated.

    How to make patch-able apps

the way i did it was the main app cleans up after install, once update has been set off, leave a flag somewhere to say update just been run the app then deletes the temp files on start up, update installer etc. so everything is handled in the main app.
