    Deleted Candy Crush Saga and disabled the Start menu


    This is a last-ditch attempt to fix the issue before I nuke the PC from orbit and reinstall the OS.

    My tale of woe and stupidity: my HD was running out of space so I checked with WinDirStat to find out what was taking up space, and in addition to stuff I was able to archive, I found hundreds of MB of bullshit from /u/EmeraldHornetToe

    To get the Desktop icon back, open Start Menu on empty desktop, find Candy Crush in All Apps list, left click and drag it off the Start Menu list onto the desktop.

    candy crush saga and other games keep reappearing in start menu

    it really disturbs me i right click on them and uninstall them and after a system reboot they are in the start menu again
    uninstalles like candy crush in the powershell with the command didint help
    and when i click on them it says pic releated

    the apps that i cant remove are: candy crush soda saga, solitare colection, minecraft windows 10 verison and royal revolt 2

    Sorry for the delay.

    I appreciate if you could answer a few questions:

    1. Do you experience this issue with only Candy Crush Saga or other Microsoft apps?

    2. Did the Candy Crush Saga games work initially when you loaded on your PC?

    If this issue is only with Candy Crush Saga, i suggest you to uninstall the game and re-install it and check if it works fine.
