    Deleted files for C:/XboxGames for game pass


    Hello,I recently got a 3 month pass for game pass for PC. After installing games I realized I installed the games on the wrong drive. I installed everything onto my 500 gb SSD C instead of my 4 tb hard drive F. However after some poor decisions to try and delete files i have deleted almost all of the files of xboxgames file. after uninstalling and reinstalling the xbox app it didn't fix so now I don't know what to do.

    why a folder Xboxgames in my C disk is making multiple files even if i uninstalled every game i downloaded from microsoft store

    I have a xboxgames folder on my c disk which is creating multiple file name like - w64_black_garden_013e_0.pkg , w64_ , w64_cosmo_01e0_0.pkg , w64_client_startup_032b_0.pkg and hundreds more and making my c disk full they are creating in - C:\XboxGames\D3256350-2CB1-46C7-80BC-EF80C53C4608\Content\packages and all files gets deleted but they comes again and there is one file that dont gets deleted named - w64_edz_0293_0.pkg but sometimes it gets deleted but changes its names and come again

    Wasteland 2 Save File Location Game Pass PC

    Hi,

    I am trying to find the save file location for my saves for Wasteland 2, I have checked a couple different areas and the folder is either empty or it is not there.

    I have checked these paths:

    C:\XboxGames\Wasteland 2- Director's Cut

    ^^This is also the pathway I have it installed in by the Game Pass App

    C:\Users\*USER*\Documents\My Games\Wasteland2DC\Save Games

    C windows installer folder - Delete?

    He can do symbolic link redirection and move the files in it to a different location. *Wink Deleted files for C:/XboxGames for game pass ;)
    Better try it out in a virtual of first. Just a suggestion.

    Like:
    First move everything in c:\windows\installer to d:\installercache
    Then delete c:\windows\installer folder
    Then type this in command mode as admin
    mklink /d c:\windows\installer d:\installercache

    Removing those installer files is a bad idea. it might prevent you from updating or uninstalling apps.
