Windows 10: Deleted folder keeps reappearing on multiple devices Not using OneDrive

This is an issue I've had over the course of over five years and across three systems: In 2018, on a PC running Windows 10 PC A, I accidentally made a folder in my user drive C:\Users\[username]. I'll call this folder "aaa" C:\Users\[username]\aaa because its actual name is someone's real name. I cannot recall what I ever did to it, but it very likely always remained empty. Not long after I made the folder, I deleted it. On the next sign-in, I noticed it was back, but still empty and with a creation date of about when I logged in. This cycle continued and I could never remove the folder

Deleted folder shortcut keeps reappearing on desktop

Hello all. I recently deleted several shortcuts from my desktop. Now however, I'm having an odd issue. One of the deleted folder shortcuts keeps reappearing. I've deleted it the conventional way and with the "Shift+Delete key" method but to no avail. Someone told me it was OneDrive, but although I do have it installed, I've never used it. Any suggestions?

 

Documents folder keeps reappearing in OneDrive?

I don't need the Documents folder in OneDrive but when I delete it, it keeps reappearing at a later time in the day.

Is there a way to stop this happening?

Reappearing of deleted files in Downloads folder

I have tried to delete some of my files in the Downloads folder. but they keep reappearing every time I refresh or reopen the folder. I have deleted them multiple times but they keep reappearing. what should I do to delete them permanently?
