Windows 10: Deleted Microsoft user account, now files have no pathway

Sooo, I messed up. My daughter gave me her old Asus laptop last year, with windows 10 but I never factory reset it. I know silly. Fast forward to yesterday, I decided to remove her Microsoft account as she no longer lives in the home. So this morning I get a fairly critical piece of work come across my desk that requires me to use Adobe CS6. No matter what I do I can save NOTHING! It tells me the pathway no longer exists. Ugh. Windows really should place a warning about this action having such major consequences!So the first logical thing I did was call my daughter to help me re-sign in. Tha

Deleting User Accounts

If you can access the admin account through safe mode then all you have to do to remove the other account passwords is go into User Accounts in the control panel and either delete the accounts or, I'm not sure, remove the account passwords.

I would suggest you to provide some information to help you better.

• Are you willing to create the Family account again?
• Are you trying to recover the files of the deleted account?

If you are trying to recover the deleted account files. Microsoft doesn't have that option of recovering.

Note: Once deleted, the user accounts cannot be recovered. Make sure you back up any data if required.
