Windows 10: Deleted Minecraft and want my old worlds back and now it doesn’t save my new worlds

So I deleted Minecraft for a bit and redownloaded it and all my worlds were gone but they were still in the saves folder so I looked up what to do and did a lot of things like making a new saves folder and putting the old worlds into that and it did nothing, I also read that I should take out “level.dat” and keep “level.dat_old” and rename it level.dat so I did that for one of my worlds that still did nothing idk if it should’ve and now alll the new worlds I make in Minecraft don’t show up anywhere on the .minecraft saves folder I even looked up the world names and they just don’t save but I s

Did you try everything I listed, which also shows you how to find the missing World's folder? I was hoping to get results posted back so I'd know what else to suggest.
