  1. Deleted User in regedit

So yesterday my pc shut down randomly It think it was a blue screen of death or something like that and today when I loaded up I got into a temp user. It wasn't my first time,I had fixed it before. But instead of deleting the right user in regedit I deleted the one with the.bax prefix and now I am no longer on a temp user but I lost all my stuff, my programs 86 files are there but my documents are gone, together with any presonalization I made before Desktop, google chrome, etc etc. Is there any way I can recover my stuff back?

    P.s: I never made backups

    :)

  3. Delete User from PC Windows 10

    Hi All

Gave a laptop to another person. Created new user then deleted old user. I followed some steps that meant going into Regedit. But can't remember exactly. All was good. There is still a folder in Users folder C:\Users\Bob (for example) but it's empty

However I just installed a new printer and printed a test page it had Username: Toshiba\Bob which is the previous user. how do I get rid of it?

I went to Advanced System Settings and in the Advanced Tab under User Profiles he's listed there too BUT apart from Default User, he's the only one I can't delete!! I can delete Toshiba\Administrator and Toshiba\Admin which I DIDN'T!

And what's more the new user isn't listed there.

So actually now i'm thinking, is the new user shown as the old user? But I want to switch.

I'm guessing I have to do it in Regedit. Can I just replace Bob for the new guy?

    Thank you

  4. Kreij Win User

    Deleted User in regedit

Current active users that are friends

The other reason I suggested this is that users can add characters to their username that are not alphanumeric (e.g. user*). This confuses things somewhat when looking at the list.
