    Deleting a Folder - Wild Tangent Games


    I have uninstalled Wild Tangent Games. But I saw some remaining files which I successfully deleted except for 1 folder inside Program Files x86. Note: I was able to view some of them from View > Options > Folder Options View - Hidden files and folders - Show hidden files, folders, and drives.


    Anyway, this 1 remaining folder i.e., WildTangent Games inside Program Files x86 is not hidden. When I try to delete it, I get the message “Folder in Use, the action can’t be completed because the folder or a file in it is open in another program”. But there is no other program that is active. When I do Ctrl + Alt + Del and click on Task Manager, it says “There are no running apps”. The content of subject folder is detailed below:


    C: > Program Files x86 > WildTangent Games > Integration > EULA


    Integration: UI folder, EulaDisplay, GameLauncher, GameLauncherDll.dll, GameLauncherDll64.dll, GameLauncherx64, HelperUpdater, Provider ShellHlp, uninstaller, wildgames, WildTangentHelper Service


    EULA: css folder, js folder, EULA_de, EULA_en-us, EULA_es, EULA_es-es, EULA_fr, EULA_it, EULA_ko, EULA_pt, EULA_zh-chs, EULA_zh-cht, install

    Is there a way to delete this WildTangent Games folder while maintaining the integrity of my laptop.

    Hello again,

    I created a local user account and performed the normal steps to try to delete the Wild Tangent games from my start menu, and it still doesn't work. To answer your questions, No, there are no error messages given; and no, this does not happen with other
    applications.

    Any other suggestions?

    Wild tangent games are not working in Windows 10

    Wild Tangent games is not working AGAIN..someone suggested removing update KB3132372 and this seemed to solve the problem for a while. Now its happening again. Have uninstalled and reinstalled, nothing seems to work. Contacted microsoft..that was a waste
    of time. Any other ideas..please?
