Windows 10: Deleting multiple files not all from Recycle Bin Windows 10

Window 10: I have been clicking on one file and holding down the shift key to the last file in a group that I want to delete from the Recycle Bin. This is not working; it is not deleting all the highlighted files. I read that I need to do this by running as administrator, which I'm familiar with, but I don't find the option for this anywhere I know to look. Lastly, I can't delete the whole bin; I'm looking for a large number of different files that I will need to restore and need to clean out the trash to get the volume down a bit. Why can't I delete multiple files? Or more to the point, how can I delete multiple files please?

To prevent your files from being deleted from the Recycle Bin, we suggest increasing the maximum file size your Recycle Bin can keep by following the steps below:

• Right click on the Recycle Bin icon.
• Under the Settings for selected location, select Custom size.
• Fill up the box for your allotted maximum file size for your Recycle Bin.

  Where is the folder located? Is it on your primary hard drive where the Windows 10 is installed/ secondary hard drive/ external hard drives like flash drive etc.?(which you have deleted accidentally)

  Have you enabled the option “Don’t move files to Recycle Bin. Remove files immediately when deleted” under the Recycle Bin properties?

This happens when you permanently delete a file from your computer without sending it to the Recycle Bin by clicking the file and then pressing
Shift + Delete keys on the keyboard.

Try the steps and check whether this issue is happening with all folders in computer or particular folders to isolate the issue.

  Open the Desktop, right click on the empty area and click on
  New and then click on Folder.

  Now, new folder might have been created on your desktop.
  
• 
  Right click on your New folder (which you have created) and click on
  Delete.
  
• 
  Now, open the Recycle bin and check if you are able to see the folder which you have deleted.
  

You may disable the steps if you have enabled the option “Don’t move files to Recycle Bin. Remove files immediately when deleted” in Recycle bin folder.

Winndows 10 delete multiple files or folders do not show in recycle bin

In Windows 8 and older versions I used to be able to recover accidentally deleted multiple files and folders from the recycle bin. Now with Windows 10, I accidentally deleted a folder full of files and it "permanently" deleted them instead of moving them
to the recycle bin. Size of the recycle bin is not a problem, properties shows many GB of space available.

I cannot find any way to change the options for saving to the recycle bin. HELP
