    Deleting Online-Only Items

I had reset my computer and started again not too long ago. Ever since, I've had a constant problem that keeps occurring. I had recently downloaded a game that I know was okay to download. I uninstalled it when I was done playing it, because I don't play games on the computer often.Every now and again, all of the files for the game will reappear on my desktop screen. When I select all of them and delete them again, it gives me the "delete online-only" files prompt. What do I do to get this to stop?

    :)

    Outlook 2007 Deleted items

    Hi there

    @Take a guess

on IMAP if you set in the config operations for each account you have the problems with -- Root Folder -->INBOX there should then be a deleted items folder. Restart outlook and when you delete items they should then go to the deleted items folder. Use Empty folder to purge the email.

Outlook 2007 and 2010 will work the same

Step 1 in account config -->change-->advanced choose the last tab and then enter INBOX (in English should be Root Folder in the menu)

Step 2 now do New folder on tab 3 and create Deleted Items on the server for the account

Step 3 move mouse to newly created folder for deleted items - your deleted items should now go into that folder after you restart Outlook. You might have to move the underlined mail etc first and then purge.

    Cheers

  3. Recovering a deleted email from the deleted items folder or Recycle Bin

Thank you for the suggestion. The only message I find at the bottom of the message list in the deleted items folder is "To find older messages, use Search". My search did not work.

    Thanks.

Deleted icons stay on desktop (not in desktop folder)

I can only suggest that you
1 Add a list of steps you have already taken.
2 Add a comment about restarting the computer. Do the deleted icons disappear then?
2 Add a comment explaining if any Desktop items do delete correctly and whether or not there are any significant differences between those that do delete correctly and those that don't.
3 Add a list of any OS tweaks you have done & any third-party OS-related utilities you have run.

I assume you have already reinstalled your display driver.
I don't see a Repair install as being relevant. Repair Install - TenForumsTutorials
