    Deleting the Links Folder from the Username Folder


    The Links folder is something that I do not use.

    Deleting the Links folder from the Username folder does not crash the computer. It makes the computer no longer having the Links folder. In fact, I do not need help from this one.

    C:\Users\<UserName>\Links

    Hi Maedox,

    You said that you have deleted all nokia related folders from doc and app folder.. But just in case, try this:

    1. Disconnect your phone from PC.

    2. Go to folder C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Datalayer\"phone's IMEI"\ and delete folder SMSDB (or move it somewhere).

    3. Go to folder C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Phone Browser\"phone's Name"\ and delete Messages folder (or move it somewhere)

    4. Restart PC and try sync your messages again via USB.

    If it fails again, is there any message in C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Phone Browser\"phone's Name"\Messages\ subfolders ?
