  1. Deletion of Characters Within File Titles

Does anyone know how to automatically delete a specified number of first characters in the titles of all files within a folder? I need to delete the first 32 characters in the titles of all files in certain folders. Should a .bat file be created with the commands to do the above action?

    :)

Is there a key to delete character ahead of the cursor?

    Hello Stephen,

As of the moment, deleting the characters next to the cursor is unavailable. You can only delete characters by moving the cursor to the right side. You can always send a suggestion via Feedback Hub app so that it can be added or included on the next update.

To send a feedback on your phone, you can follow the steps below:

    1. Go to All Apps, search for the Feedback
      Hub app.
    2. Open the menu icon at the top left side.
    3. Select Feedback, then at the top right side, tap the
      add
      button (+).
    4. Select Suggestion and fill up the box with the details of the feature you want to be added on Windows phone.
    5. Select the right category for the suggestion and then submit.

Should you need more help, feel free to ask the Community.

Invalid character in Winrar archive - unable to delete it

Hello *Smile Deletion of Characters Within File Titles :) I have problem deleting a file which i created with Winrar. I was trying to make an archive with the STALKER SOF patch and some of my save games to send them to a friend when i accidentally put a : (colon) character in the name of the zip archive. Now on the desktop i have file called S.T.A.L.K.E.R. which i am unable to delete because it says 'Could not find this item'. The filename i entered was 'S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl 1.0005' so i assume it thinks the file is located in 'S.T.A.L.K.E.R.:' drive which is non existing. Any way i can delete this file ?
