    Delink MS account from remote PC


    Hello,I have laptop that I no longer have access to that is logged in under my personal MS account. I believe it is the admin. How can I delink my MS account so that they do not share the same Photos, Store etc.? My goal is that a new MS account or new local account needs to be created in order to use the machine. I have read about untrusting a device and changing the password, but I'm not entirely sure those two will solve my problem.Windows 11 on the remote machineWindows 10 on the local machine

    Thank you for the reply. I am the only user on the system (administrator account) and the account I have is linked to my microsoft account. I need to delink this account. The steps you have provided above didn't help resolve the issue. If you can provide
    an alternate solution it would be great.

    Hi, I'm sorry I was using a Chinese version of windows 10 at work, so could not find much information about what I need.
    My personal microsoft account somehow got linked to the windows 10 administrator account. If I create another administrator account and try to delete the original administrator account, it doesnt let me do it. I just want to delink my ms account from the computer.
    Anyone has any clues?

    But Im trying to delink the account, why would doing that help? Im not trying to replace the account as I have files and stuff that would take ages to move over an d programs that would be annoying to resetup. Im just trying to delink the account.
