Windows 10: Delivery Optimization - Download update files only from local PCs

Hi, I have some PC in a network which block the windows update via Firewall. now i need to enable windows update for those PCs. my plan is to enable direct windows update to one or two computer and deploy delivery optimization via Intune. i belive other PCs in the network will get updates from other PCs after enabling delivery optimization. will this work?

PCs on your local network and PCs on the Internet. Windows uses the same process as when getting updates and apps from PCs on your local network, and also looks for PCs on the Internet that can be used as a source to download parts of updates
and apps.

Delivery Optimization creates a local cache, and stores files that it has downloaded in that cache for a short period of time. Depending on your settings, Windows then send parts of those files to other PCs on your local network or PCs on the Internet that
are downloading the same files.

Delivery Optimization won’t automatically download or send parts of updates or apps to other PCs on the Internet if it detects that you're using a metered connection.

Kalpala, I just read the FAQs again, carefully. Does delivery optimization NOT work if I go to settings and click update. When I want to update I turn off metered connection on all computers, one of which has been updated recently, and start an update, is
this the proper way to do this?

I am using homegroup as opposed to shared drives, does this have a bearing on this function?

I tried everything right frm connecting the lan,creating a home group and joining, disabling firewall,etc etc..But nothing worked.Microsoft has to demonstrate by giving various examples/flowcharts regarding the functioning of Delivery Optimization.
