Windows 10: Dell 5558 incompatible with Win11?

I have a couple 64bit Dell 5558's that I thought were Win11 compatible but the MS PC Health Check indicates that they are not.Here's what I'm see from the PC Health Check app:TPM 2.0 must be supported and enabled on this PC.TPM not detected.The processor isn't currently supported by Windows 11.Processor: Intel Core i5-4210U CPU @ 1.7GhzI have 16GB and a 2TB SSD. Clock speed is listed as 24GHz.

Dell Inspiron Notebook 5558 not upgradable to Win 10?

Dell Support tells me my Inspiron Notebook 5558 (purchased in 2016) is not tested for Windows 10 November update. When I check out this Dell support site (https://www.dell.com/support/article/il/en/ilbsdt1/sln302709/computers-tested-for-windows-10-and-windows-10-november-update?lang=en#Inspiron-NB)
my 5558 is indeed on the list of Win 10 tested machines. How do I determine which is right? Can I, or can I not, upgrade my Win 7 Pro 5558 to Win 10?

Hi Microsoft.

My Dell Inspiron 5558 laptop web cam drivers have been wiped out after update to 1903. The reference in Device Manager has also disappeared as well. any help to fix this problem would be most helpful

I can understand the situation must be difficult for you when the touch screen doesn't work as it should.

Meanwhile, let us follow these methods and check if that helps.

Method 1: As the touch screen shows as a hidden device in HID, follow these steps and check if that works for you.

In the Device Manager, chose "Human Interface Devices", in menu chose "show hidden devices", selected HID Touchscreen then in menu above chose "properties".
Popup Window opened: under "driver" tab chose "disable", then chose "enable".

If that does not help then proceed further with the un-install the hidden driver and click on ‘scan for hardware changes’ for the default driver to install.

In the Device Manager window, select Action tab and click on ‘scan for hardware changes’.

Method 2: Suggest you to perform the troubleshooting steps suggested in the article and get back to us with the results.
