Dell BT Travelmouse - > Constantly quitting

Topic pretty much says it. Every 3-5 minutes I hvce to turn off the mouse and back on to hook up to BT since upgrading to Windows 10.

I checked and don't find any drivers. It appears it just uses Windows native drivers, and the latest is 2006 drivers.

Do I need to throw this mouse away and get a newer one? Or do you have any suggestions for a fix?

    Thanks...

    :)

Dell BT 3.55 module connectivity error?

I did reinstall the BT 3.55 Dell drivers.

But still face a few issues..........

    1. The N93 gets connected & paired to my note book but gets disconnected in secs....??

    2. Secondly when I click on the BT icon I can receive a file from my XPS notebook but cannot send a file from my cell to the notebook.........the wizard hangs??

In BT devices> N93> Properties> Services............there are quite a few........I unchecked a few service like Nokia Obex Suite, NokiaSync MLServer, now don’t get yellow icon BT peripheral devices in Device Manager, Sync ML DMClient........ Checked Services
are File Transfer Obex, Image Responder, Object Push (Obex), Sync ML Client……….what services need to be checked & unchecked?

To cut it short why cant i remain connected & why cant I send a file from thr cell..........

    Thanks in advance!

    Disable bluetooth auto connect

I have the same problem with my headset and my Google Home speaker.

As my GH is constantly on, each time I quit sleep on my Laptop, it auto-connects to it.

I have a BT mouse that I want to auto-connect but I need an option, like the other people, to disable auto-connect for some devices like the Headset and GH.

Well, I purchased a Microsoft Mouse on Amazon that the reviews said works on Windows 10, and I'm having the same problems with it.

It did NOT come with drivers. Drivers being used are still 2006 drivers. I did download and install the configuration software, but that did not update the drivers.

I'm considering backing out of Windows 10 for now. Pretty frustrating.

  5. I use a Microsoft sculpt comfort BT mouse myself and have no problems with connection dropouts at all. I'm using the manufacturer's driver from Win 10 update though.

That's the exact mouse I purchased. No drivers came with it. I did a Google Search on "microsoft sculpt comfort mouse driver", and the first item took me to this page which had no driver downloads, just Mouse and Keyboard Center 2.5. I installed, no help.

    ...
I just called Microsoft and am waiting for a call back. Maybe they can get me drivers.

Well, the call with MIcrosoft was interesting.

They hooked to my PC remotely; went into Device Manager; Clicked the Update Drivers button on the mouse - It replied I had the latest drivers; Clicked on the Update Drivers for the mouse in the Blue Tooth menu, same reply.

They they declared it was fixed.

It never updated any drivers at all. Of course, it's working now. But I expect the mouse will quite in just a few minutes, and I'll have to call back again.
