Windows 10: dell DT OPYIPLEX STUCK IN AUTO REPAIR LOOP W/ UNRESPONSIVE KEYBOARD AND MOUSE.

my dell optiplex duo core vpro w/win 10 pro is suddenly stuck in auto repair loop that ultimately ends at BSoD. Ive created a bootable media from microsoft but dont want to lose my data. I ran sfc-diskpart-etc and none came back as bad. I did run and reboot a norton eraser fix just prior to this happening. I feel it removed my partition at beginning of drive, however, once the loop reaches restore/or advanced options my mouse and keyboard both do not respond. These quirky symptoms must ring a bell w/ s.one.Please help!! thank you.

Stuck in auto repair loop

If the screen is stuck for a long time on auto repair, I suggest you to restart the computer using power button and check. If the issue still persist, I suggest you to check if you are able to boot the computer into Safe Mode environment and check.

To use a Safe Boot option, follow these steps:

• 
  Restart your computer and start pressing the F8 key on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured for booting to multiple operating systems, you can press the F8 key when the Boot Menu appears.
  
• 
  Select an option to “Safe mode with networking” using the arrow keys on the keyboard when the Windows Advanced Options menu
  appears, and then press ENTER.

My computer continually starts in, Automatic Repair. When it gets to, choose keyboard, the keyboard and mouse are unresponsive.

My computer continually starts in, Automatic Repair. When it gets to, choose keyboard, the keyboard and mouse are unresponsive. I have tried ps2 keyboard, and a usb keyboard. Neither work. Pressing the caps lock key on the keyboard, its caps lock LED lights
at first then stops responding as auto repair is loading. This suggests it is a bug in the auto repair software.

I do not have a Windows 10 disk as I upgraded from Windows 7. I have the Windows 7 disk and license.

This is unbelievable that safe mode is no longer available by pressing F8.
