Windows 10: Dell Factory Image Restore

    Dell Factory Image Restore


    I upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7 but I would like to go back to Win 7. It's past the 30 days and so I can't roll back via Win 10. When I use F8, I see that the Dell Factory Image Restore is no longer an option. However, I do have a recovery drive for Win 7. Has Win 10 prevented me from accessing the recovery drive? If so, how do I get around this?

    in theory yes you should be able to use option 2, as long as you have backed up your stuff

    Thank you georgebaker. I've had a go and it was fine till I got to step 5. At that point there is no option 3. I can use option 1 and keep my files, or option 2 which removes everything. I spent all afternoon backing up everything on to disks, so would
    I be able to use option 2 and remove everything then restore it all from the disks? Wouldn't I then just end up where I started? I'm just about at the end of my tether. I spent 3 hours yesterday trying to get my emails to work and I've been trying to sort
    out everything else since 7 o'clock this morning. I've tried everything I can think of. Maybe I should go for option 2 and keep my fingers crossed.
