Windows 10: Dell Inspiration 3000 Windows 10 laptop fans wont stop running even when laptop is off

Hi, I've had this for maybe 1 month now and I've tried using others posts to resolve it but it wont stop. I cant give any more specs than what i said in the top but I come to wake up in the middle of the night with my fans as loud as they can be and the vents and top keyboard burning hot. When it is turned off the power cable is the only thing plugged in. I turn it off with the power button pressed. The day it started was when i downloaded glorious model d software if that helps and when I fully power off when I hold down the power button for 15 seconds program manager stops me from doing so f

Dell Inspiration 15 3000 - open the CD/DVD drawer?

I have a new Dell Inspiration 15 3000 and am trying to open the CD/DVD drawer but there is no button to use to open. HELP!

Laptop Fan Wont Spin

are you people ignoring what i said??

i've done this before. windows 7 has nothing to do with it. the fan on a laptop is driven by the bios. And when the chip gets hot the fan spins.

i can be 99% its dirty and clogged and is not letting it spin.

blow it out. if that doesn't work, take it apart and check the fan.

the fan may be broken, but its not software related.

title says it all.
last night, in the middle of an essay, my laptop forcefully shutdown.
i wondered why until i felt the bottom of it. it almost burnt my hand, it was incredibly hot.
now ive been keeping a close eye on it and i have found out that the only cooling fan on the laptop wont spin. im not sure if it has a temperature threshold or is just broken.

what would you guys suggest be the best cause of action (to both finding out for sure why its doing it, and how to fix it?)?
