Windows 10: Dell Inspiron 14 7430 2 in 1 not recognizing any Pen and touch input.

As said in the question, my laptop is not recognizing any pen and touch input. The HID compliant touchscreen driver is also not there. This first started yesterday morning and I followed other posts to try and fix it which all didn't work. I restarted my laptop, I also uninstalled the driver and restarted the laptop, I've updated my laptop, I've rolled back an update and reupdated, I also did a factory reset but it was the local reinstall. I believe that the local reinstall did not work because it just redownloaded the corrupted data. I could not get the cloud download to work as it said "your

I have a Dell Inspiron 14 5410 2-in-1. I’ve noticed many say the purchased stylus did not work. Could you tell me which stylus pens can work with this device? Thank you.

 

Pen and Touch not working after upgrading to Windows 10

I have a similar problem, and like the original poster none of the above steps worked.

I have a brand new Dell Inspiron 13 7384 2 in 1 computer with Windows 10, and a Dell Active Stylus (3rd generation?)

The pen worked initially, but after a couple of days it stopped without warning.

The pen works on my Dell tablet, both with Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, so the pen is functioning fine.

The Pen and Touch controls are not listed in the control panel. In doing a cortana search for Pen and Touch, the controls came up, but there was only a tab for the touch controls. No tab for Pen.

I have scoured both Dell and Microsoft websites and I have found no workable solution.

Can you help?

 

How can I disable finger touch input while leaving pen input enabled on a touchscreen.

I just bought dell inspiron 2 in 1 laptop. Whenever I write or sketch using a pen, my hand touch on screen doesn't let me sketch properly and it is hard to write/sketch without putting wrist on screen.

so I want to disable all kind of body touch while writing.

How can I disable body touch input while leaving pen input enabled on laptop touchscreen?
