    Dell inspiron 3537, Search app overclock cpu and freezes laptop for few seconds


    Good afternoon,I have a Dell inspiron 3537 with 8gb ram, i7 4500U CPU, HD 8850M 2gb. I have encountered with cpu overlock and that leads to system freeze for a few seconds. Searching the the sourse of the problem through task manager->windows resourse monitor i noticed that "windows search app" and "shell experience host" has been suspended by he system causing the freeze problem. Doing some research online, i read that the "search app" is a windows app and is connected to "cortana" search, with i disabled both. First "cortana" and then the " search app" through window "services"-> "disa

    the full model number tells people what is different between in all Inspiron 3537s. Use it to search for the correct driver.

    What happened when you checked the service tag?

    Just knowing that it's an Inspiron 3537 doesn't narrow things down very much. https://downloads.dell.com/manuals/a...uide_en-us.pdf

    There are a number of CPUs and GPUs available in that model. It's possible that yours has both a discrete AMD GPU and the Intel one.
