Windows 10: Dell inspiron N5110 window 10 update chaos

The issue all started yesterday 26/8/18 from a update 30 min warning. So i restarted the laptop then the next thing the laptop just kept shutting down not restarting complete shut down so i had to keep starting the laptop back up finally it completed update but now i get less than 30 secs then window 10 just shut down. I have look into a restore but can't get that to work. I have reset window 10 but did not solve anything thx to window updates. There the only ones in the past few years that have tank both my pc. This laptop may be old but before the update it was working fine no problem what so ever. I can boot into safe mode and that does not close down on me but MS made sure they closed down all the updates so can't uninstall in safe mode. In the 30 sec window i Did try to uninstall the update but as system just keep shutting down it does not have the time to complete as it closes down. I have reset power issues in safe mode but nothing change. I would very much appreciate any help as we get nothing from MS but dodgy updates. Must be the only company that takes no responsibility for tanking people personal computers. Wish governments would make them pay for the chaos these update causes. I would love to fix laptop and not have to do a new window 10 install with more window 10 update chaos to deal with but at this point i fear that could be the only solution to fix laptop.


My last question is will window 10 home key i have in this system be validated if i go for a new window 10 install on this laptop.?

Windows 10 Black Screen Problem for Dell Inspiron N5110

I did a fresh install to Win10 on a new SSD. install went OK until the second update and then black screen.

Found a suggestion elsewhere to plug in an external VGA monitor and it worked fine.

Then I updated to bios version 11 from Dell's site and after the reboot the laptop screen is working.

in my case the laptop is: an Inspiron 15R (N5110, Early 2011)

BIOS update here:

I also updated the dell quickset, and the function keys are working for screen brightness and volume control.

WiFi works Audio works, that's all I've tried.
